The apartment was stunning. Modern clean and sunset views across the sea. The owner was lovely and super helpful. Location is perfect for the best restaurants in old platanias. Cosmos and Astrea. Amazing value for money. Wolt which is like deliveroo was super handy for food and drink delivery. Really cute cats nearby and driving distance to many beautiful places such as falassarna beach and the old Port.

If you want luxury with a million dollar view this is the place to stay! The house felt like a home with all the amenities needed. The view is absolutely to die for and the hostess Amalia was beautiful, friendly and accomodating. Amalia’s home became our home for a 8 nights and we as a family were able to create magical holiday memories. Ven Mar is exactly as seen in pictures but equipped with more … small touches such as wine, coffee, Cretan honey, snacks and food were an added bonus. The walk (10 min) to Platanias main strip and beaches is a little hilly however I, who don’t consider myself fit at all, managed it fine…. It actually added to the charm. We will definitely be visiting again and thank Amalia for creating such a wonderful space for us to enjoy our Cretan holiday.

Ohne Zweifel wird uns Platanias für immer in Erinnerung bleiben, vor allem wegen des Apartments, dass nicht nur perfekt ausgestattet und komfortabel ist, sondern auch mit viel Geschmack eingerichtet wurde. Hinzu kommt die absolut ungewöhnliche Lage auf der Anhöhe über der dicht bebauten und touristisch stark entwickelten Stadt entlang der Küste. Man befindet sich in einem alten Stadtteil mit viel Charme und gemütlichen Gassen. Zudem ist es fernab vom großen Trubel der Hauptstraße. Nebenan die besten Restaurants der Stadt. Der Blick vom Balkon ist atemberaubend. Der Kontakt zur Eigentümerin war unkompliziert und freundlich.
